·       If you forget the password to access your email account configured in the Outlook email manager program, contact the email service provider to get a new password for logging into the account.

·       After getting the new password, open the Outlook program by double clicking on its icon found in the desktop, and then click on the Tools tab found at the top of the application window.

·       When the Tools menu expands to a drop down menu, look for Account Settings from the options shown in the dropdown menu, and click on it when found.

·       When the Account Settings dialog box appears on the screen, double click on the account for opening your Personal Folders window. If you were not able to open the window, highlight the Data Files tab, and then look for the name of your email account in the dialog box.

·       In the window that is found on the screen, you will be able to see a button named as Change Password. Click on the button and type the new password that you got from the email service provider in the box labeled as New Password, and then retype it correctly in the field found just below the box.
